The Laingsburg Lions Club will hold our Springtime Festival over Memorial Day weekend, May 21-25th, 2026 in downtown Laingsburg, Mi. Arnold Amusements will provide rides, games of chance, and of course your favorite carnival foods like Elephant Ears and Corn Dogs. Arnold Amusements plays an important role in our Annual Festival which allows the Lions club to raise money for various projects that benefit our town of Laingsburg. Also please note that Lion Ed Tyler has created a dedicated webpage for the Laingsburg Lions Club Springtime Festival and you can access it here: Springime Festival * * * * * * Festival General Info * * * * * * Opening of this years 43rd Springtime Festival will take place at the McClintock Park Amphitheater starting at 6:00pm. Lion President, Nick Holtman, will be introducing our Festival King and Queen, along with this years Parade Marshalls. * * * * * * Arnolds Carnival Midway * * * * * * Midway opens Thursday night, May 21st at 5:00PM. Bracelet ride prices this year are $25 for Thursday: 5-10pm, Friday-Sunday: $30 for all day riding, Monday: $25 for all day riding. Midway opening also means Games of Chance and lots of great food will be available during these same times! * * * * * * Chicken Dinner * * * * * * 
In the past the Laingsburg Lions Famous Chicken Dinner was held immediately following the parade. It is now held prior to the Springtime Festival. This year it is being held on Saturday May 9th. Pre-order form is on the main Laingsburg Lions website. If you didn't preorder, some dinners will be available on a 1st come, 1st serve basis from 12pm-4pm at ECEC center. * * * * * * Parade Info * * * * * * Parade information can be found at the Laingsburg Lions Springtime Festival website - Springime Festival Parade info Parade application can be found at the Laingsburg Lions Springtime Festival website - Parade application This years parade theme is "WE THE PEOPLE CELEBRATE - AMERICA'S 250TH BIRTHDAY" Jeff and Gail Geasler are our Lions Club Parade Committee this year and can be reached at 517-896-9506 for information. The Laingsburg Fire, Rescue, Ambulance vehicles will lead off the parade followed by the American Legion Honor Guard, Parade Marshalls - Troy and Shannon Graham, Dignitaries, then parada participants. Parade participants need to check in at the parade headquarters table located at the Baptist church rear entrance. You will recieve your designated line up location along Woodbury rd. Parade entrants should start lining up along Woodbury Rd at 10:00am. Parade starts promptly at 11:00am, rain or shine. If you've participated in the past you should have been sent a application for this years parade. PLEASE register in advance as it makes the task of parade layout and planning much easier. And if you didn't or were late in submitting your parade application, you can still participate, please come to the parade headquarters table at the east side entrance of the Baptist Church. But again, please try to register with Gail prior to Parade Day - 517-896-9506. * * * * * * Arts and Crafts * * * * * * Arts and Craft show is being held at Laingsburg ECEC parking lot. Committee Chair Ed Tyler is handling registration and can be reached at 989-666-3626 or laingsburglionsartsandcrafts@gmail.com. Friday: 5:00pm - 8:00pm, Saturday: 12:00 - dusk, Sunday: 12:00 - dusk. * * * * * * Memorial Day * * * * * * Springtime Festival occurs during Memorial Day weekend! Post 248 American Legion holds a breakfast at the Legion on Sunday morning, 8:00am - 11:00am. Memorial Day Service will be held Monday at the cemetary: 11:00am - 12:00 noon. What is Memorial Day?
Memorial Day is considered a federal holiday in the United States, in which we honor and mourn members of the military who have passed away while serving in the United States Armed Forces. On this day, we pay tribute to those who gave their lives while protecting and serving their nation. Thank a Veteran for their Service. * * * * * * Raffle Ticket Drawing * * * * * * Of course you can't have a Spring Time Festival without a raffle drawing. 8 prizes will be given: 1st Place - a Custom golf cart
