The Laingsburg Lions Club will hold our Springtime Festival over Memorial Day weekend, May 22-26th, 2025 in downtown Laingsburg, Mi. Arnold Amusements will provide rides, games of chance, and of course your favorite carnival foods like Elephant Ears and Corn Dogs. Arnold Amusements plays an important role in our Annual Festival which allows the Lions club to raise money for various projects that benefit our town of Laingsburg.

In the past the Laingsburg Lions Famous Chicken Dinner was held immediately following the parade. It is now held prior to the Springtime Festival.
This year it was held on MAY 10th.
The official opening begins Thursday night, May 22nd at 5:00PM with games, carnival rides, and lots of great food! Bracelet rides are $25 for Thursday: 5-10pm, Friday-Sunday: $30 for all day riding, Monday: $25 for all day riding.
Introduction of the King and Queen and Parade Marshall will take place at the McClintock Park Amphitheater starting at 6:15pm.
Lion President, Justin Allen, will introduce our Festival King and Queen, along with this years Parade Marshall.

Theme of this years parade is "God Bless America".
The Laingsburg Fire, Rescue, Ambulance vehicles will lead off the parade followed by the American Legion Honor Guard, Parade Marshalls - John and Peggy Leonard, Dignitaries, then parada participants. NOTE that due to closing of N. Woodhull Rd from Grand River to McClintok St, a portion of the parade "Emergency Vehichles" will be turning right onto High street.
Parade participants will start lining up along Woodbury Rd at 10:00am with a parade starting time of 11:00am promptly, rain or shine. Many applications have already been sent out to past participants. Please register in advance as it makes the task of parade layout and planning much easier.
And if you didn't or were late in submitting your parade application, you can still participate, please come to the parade headquarters table at the east side entrance of the Baptist Church.
But again, please try to register with Bekah prior to Parade Day.
The Bicycle Contest is being held again this year. Those participating in the bicycle contest can decorate their bike with the hopes of winning cash prizes. 1st place - $75. 2nd place - $50. 3rd place - $25. Judging will take into consideration the theme of this years parade - "God Bless America". Judging will begin at 10:15am-10:30am at the east side / rear of the Baptist Church parking lot.
Arts and Craft show has been moved to McClintok park. You can find a registration page along with a fact sheet on the main webpage of this website. Hours: Friday: 2:00pm - dusk, Saturday: 12:00 - dusk, Sunday: 12:00 - 6:00pm.
Springtime Festival occurs during Memorial Day weekend! Post 248 American Legion holds a breakfast at the Legion on Sunday morning, 8:00am - 11:00am. Memorial Day Service will be held Monday at the cemetary: 11:00am - 12:00 noon.
What is Memorial Day?
Memorial Day is considered a federal holiday in the United States, in which we honor and mourn members of the military who have passed away while serving in the United States Armed Forces. On this day, we pay tribute to those who gave their lives while protecting and serving their nation. Thank a Veteran for their Service.
Of course you can't have a Spring Time Festival without a raffle drawing. 8 prizes will be given: 1st Place - a Custom golf cart, 2nd - $1000 Weekend Get Away, 3rd - 2 Wooden Rocking Chair, 4th - $400 cash, 5th - $400 of Local Business Gift Cards, 6th - $300 Cash, 7th - $200 Cash, 8th - $100 Cash.

RAFFLE TICKETS -- can be purchased $10 each or 3 for $20. DRAWING to be held Monday May 26th, 2024 at 3:00PM at the McClintock Park Amphitheater.
Purchase your raffle tickets from any Laingsburg Lion member from now up until 15 minutes before the drawing.
Lion members will be walking the midway and manning the Craft show ticket booth Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Tickets can also be purchased at Leonard Hardware, Laingsburg Eye Care, Twilligers, and at the Meridian Weekly in Ovid.
The money that the Laingsburg Lions Club raises from the Festival is used for the various programs / projects that are used to support the various projects the community.
The festival is our Lions Club major fundraiser; please come down and help support our great community.
